Hi all. I was wondering what CD burning programs do you use? I have a friend who has asked me to make her a couple of mix CD's from my CD collection, but I'm not sure which CD burning programs are compatible with JAWS, and which ones aren't. Also, I have never burned a CD using the computer before, so when I start doing that, I'll need some help with that as well. Thank you.

I use alcohol 120% by alcohol soft.

You can bern lodes of types of cd's using that, and you could use its copying thingy which lets you put a cd in, then put a blank in and it will bern it to the cd for you.

I have no clue how much it is, soz.

I use Nero. Nero all the way! It's sooooo easy to use and it gets the job done. Not sure on the accessibility. But if you have a CD burner you really don't need a program. Before Nero I was able to burn pics using the computer. I went into my pictures, the folder, and selected copy to cd and followed the instructions. If that didn't work, again right click your object and then send to and then point to dvd/cd rom drive E. Then burn it that way.

I use windows media player. However, each time I burn a cd, it's a brand-new experience because something always comes up.

I use Nero. It's accessible with Jaws, but it takes a little getting used to!

Hello. I don't do much cd burnning but when I do I use record now and it is kind of a pain to teach someone else to useas it is not the easyes thing for me to use, but I try to do the best I can.

hi, I use sonic record now, but I've found it pretty easy to use with jaws. I've burned just a straight copy of a cd, and I've burned mix cd's, I haven't burned files from the computer onto disc yet, but that looks pretty easy to do. I just don't know how to convert mp3 files to wav files in order to burn them onto cd. My only problem so far is that I don't know how to check on how much memory I've used so far. I know that a typical cd is 700 mb, but I can't figure out how to see how much memory I've used so far.

You shouldn't have to convert your mp3's to wav files. MP3 files should burn nicely without conversion. As far as checking on how much is left that depends on the program you are using.

really? I mean I thought that mp3 files could only be burned and played on mp3 players.

Thanks all. Sonic is what's on my computer, so I guess I'll be using that. I just wasn't sure if it was compatible with JAWS or not.

MP3 files can be burned directly to cd and also loaded in to mp3 players. There are also CD players that will play disk with mp3 files copyed to them.

I use Nero as well, and haven't encountered any problems with it yet. :)

I've heard of Nero, but I haven't ever used it. I don't really know of anyone who has either, except for one lady I used to work with, and she had problems with it.

How well did Easy CD creator work for you? I've heard about it, but not too much.
